I'm not dead just very busy with my day job. I've been developing Lean processes there to help ease visual representation of data base information. Anyways, as you are all know, I always say, there are updates to come, but this time, it's true. You're just going to have to give me a month or two to get them done.
It's sad but true, Shock 3's final AOL update is soon to come. This has always been the ultimate plan. I did not however want to abandon everyone who has made Shock 3 what it is and those people are on AOL. So, while building the plug-in I made a few alterations to the way the Chatscan works. It works in a way that does not require you to set a version or worry about what AOL version you're using. Either it be waol2, AOL 5.0, AOL 9.0 the chatscan knows what you're using and reacts accordingly. This way Shock should work with any and all future AOL versions without upgrading.
I will be developing a non-AOL based Shock in the future. Which will include more features that are unique and never seen before in "normal" media players.
After the Shock 3 updates are complete I will be finishing the Last.fm Plug-In for AIM 6.x. Many of you do not know this exists but it does. The current version is unstable, but I've already got the code written for the new release. I just want to test it before releasing extensively.
After I'm done with these two projects I'm unsure of what I'll do next. I haven't really been on the computer in quite some time. I find myself more and more unwilling to log on in the recent years. I do however find myself more and more attracted to SOCOM: Combined Assault and I'm eagerly awaiting the September release of SOCOM: Confrontation on the PS3. It's amazing, check out some of the videos on YouTube.
Until next time,
+Allen G
